There were 5 sets of teams decorating a cake based on the country artists’ songs. The first group was Martin Howard & Julie Roberts and her mom. The second team was Norman Davis & Aaron Tippin and his wife. The third group was Bronwen Weber & Dean Sams/Michael Britt from Lonestar. The fourth group was Lisa Raffael & Troy Gentry (from Montgomery & Gentry) and his wife. The fifth group was Michelle Bommarito & Eddie Montgomery and his wife. The judges were from Nashville, and they picked 3 people’s choice judges. I was one of them! I got a chef’s jacket and got to walk around with the judges and ask them questions while they were decorating their cakes. Of course I took pictures too. Keegan Gerhard from the Food Network was there as the co-host. If you are a fan of the Cake Challenges on the Food Network, then you will know each of the cake competitors.
